Port Sunlight: Cottages at dusk
2026
Acrylic and pastel on canvas
signed and dated on bottom left corner 61cm x 40cm This painting ultimately became all about home as sanctuary. Something universal and extremely heartfelt. The porch of the cottage positively glows like a beacon in this nocturn scene, developed across successive highly contrasting layers.
