Dot.art 20 x 20 exhibition
I exhibited this small piece for the 20x20 Exhibition, celebrating the 20th birthday of the Dot Art gallery. The brief is that each picture must be 20cm x 20cm. The small square format of multiple scenes put me in mind of transfer printed Victorian ceramic picture tiles, and their faded, sooty and cracked domesticity. The plate is mounted onto a 20x20cm wood backing. Tile Monotype, acrylic, drypoint and gold metal leaf on acrylic plate 20cm x 20cm 2026
